Mariel Brechner and Jacqueline Brechner Vaisman are sisters who each have two children. When Jacqueline was pregnant with her second child, Mariel was reminded of her own experience of bringing a new baby into the home.

 

Mariel had the idea to write a children’s book that paints a realistic picture of both the joys and challenges a new baby can bring. Mariel approached her sister about the idea, who at the time was living the experience, and they worked together to bring the story to life.

Mariel is a product manager by trade living in St. Louis, and Jacqueline is a content marketer living in Los Angeles.
